A leading international law firm is seeking to appoint a Knowledge Lawyer with strong Irish employment law expertise to join its growing Dublin office. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a qualified employment lawyer to move into a specialist knowledge and training-focused role within a highly ranked and forward-thinking employment team.

About the Role
This is a senior position supporting a team of over twenty employment lawyers in Dublin, as part of a wider international employment practice. The role will involve close collaboration with partners, associates, and the wider knowledge team across multiple offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation, editing, and publishing of legal updates, client alerts, and training content
- Deliver regular internal legal updates and technical briefings to the employment team
- Coordinate and present training for new joiners, returners, and junior lawyers
- Maintain and update knowledge resources and precedents relevant to Irish employment law
- Support client training programmes, in-house employment law clubs, and major conferences
- Respond to legal research queries and provide technical guidance to team members
- Collaborate with international partners on multi-jurisdictional knowledge projects through global alliances
- Contribute to wider know-how initiatives across Ireland, the UK, and Europe
About You
This role would suit an experienced employment solicitor who is either currently working in a knowledge lawyer role or seeking a transition into this area.
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE in employment law (Irish qualification essential)
- Strong technical knowledge of Irish employment legislation and case law
- Experience advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Excellent written communication skills with a flair for drafting engaging content
- Organised, proactive, and commercially aware with strong interpersonal skills
- A genuine interest in legal education, professional development, and innovation in legal service delivery
- Previous experience in training, precedents or internal knowledge projects is desirable
