Construction Associate Solicitor – Dublin
DAC Recruitment is currently assisting a leading Irish law firm in their search for a Construction Associate Solicitor to join their expanding non-contentious construction practice in Dublin. The role offers the opportunity to work on market-leading development projects across a diverse range of sectors, including commercial, residential, logistics, technology, life sciences, healthcare, and energy.
The Role
The successful candidate will join a well-established team focused on advising high-profile clients—ranging from investors and developers to contractors and lenders—on all aspects of construction project delivery. This includes contract structuring, procurement strategy, design team appointments, and construction contract negotiation. You will work closely with real estate and finance colleagues on complex transactions, including development agreements, forward fund deals, and lease structuring.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and negotiating construction contracts, professional appointments, collateral warranties, and associated project documentation.
- Advising clients on procurement and risk management throughout the lifecycle of major development projects.
- Collaborating with other practice groups on multi-disciplinary transactions.
- Managing a diverse and growing portfolio of clients with a focus on delivering high-quality, solutions-oriented advice.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified Solicitor in Ireland or in England & Wales.
- 0–4 years’ PQE with demonstrable experience in construction law, energy or projects (contentious or non-contentious).
- Commercial awareness and a strong focus on client service.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong academic credentials.
