The Opportunity
A leading law firm in Dublin is seeking a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join its top-tier Aviation & Asset Finance team. This is a rare opportunity to join a private practice team known for its work with airlines, leasing companies, financiers, and manufacturers across the aviation sector.
You’ll be involved in cross-border transactions from day one, working with senior lawyers on high-value leasing, trading, and financing deals. The ideal candidate will have completed a rotation in aviation or banking and finance during their training contract or otherwise have demonstrable interest and academic grounding in this area.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on aircraft leasing, trading, and financing transactions.
- Drafting and negotiating a range of aviation-related agreements including lease agreements, novations, security documents and side letters.
- Supporting due diligence and regulatory review in multi-jurisdictional transactions.
- Liaising with aircraft lessors, financial institutions, and corporate clients.
- Contributing to client pitches, business development and knowledge-sharing within the team.
Requirements
- Qualified as a solicitor in Ireland or the UK.
- Strong academic record and legal training from a recognised Irish, UK, or international firm.
- Demonstrable interest or prior experience in aviation law, asset finance, or banking.
- Excellent drafting, communication, and organisational skills.
- A commercial mindset and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, international environment.
