Senior Manager, Tax
DAC Recruitment is partnering with a leading Irish law firm to recruit a Senior Manager for its highly regarded Tax Group. The role is based in Dublin and offers a hybrid working model.
Team
The Tax Group advises leading Irish and international corporates, financial institutions, government bodies and multinationals. The practice focuses exclusively on advisory, transactional and contentious tax work, not routine compliance, and works closely with other practice groups including corporate, finance, capital markets, investment funds, real estate and litigation.
The team’s work includes advising on major corporate and M&A transactions, designing innovative transaction structures and cross-border strategies, structuring complex real estate acquisitions and disposals, guiding clients through tax disputes and investigations, and providing stand-alone advice on strategic and sensitive tax matters.
Role
As a Senior Manager you will play a leadership role within the Tax Group. Responsibilities include leading on high-level client advisory matters across corporate, M&A, securitisation, finance, real estate and disputes, developing responses to tax policy initiatives at OECD, EU and domestic level, concluding on technical points and shaping the firm’s position, supervising and mentoring junior team members, and directing training and knowledge development within the group.
Candidate
4+ years relevant PQE (ACA, ACCA, CTA, solicitor or equivalent). Excellent technical tax knowledge with strong advisory expertise. Strong client relationship and project management skills. Commercially astute with the ability to deliver innovative solutions. Excellent communication and presentation skills. A collaborative leader with proven mentoring ability.
