Reception Team Leader
Dublin | Full-Time | Permanent | Shift-Based
DAC Recruitment is working with a leading international law firm to recruit an experienced Reception Team Leader to join its Dublin office.
This is a permanent position, operating on a shift basis between 08:00 and 18:00, Monday to Friday, with flexibility required for occasional earlier starts or later finishes to meet business and client requirements.
This role would suit a senior Front of House or Reception professional looking to step into a leadership position within a premium, corporate environment.
The Role
The Reception Team Leader will lead and manage the reception team, ensuring the delivery of an exceptional front of house experience for all clients, visitors, and staff. The role sets the standard for service excellence, oversees daily operations, and supports the development and performance of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and supervise the reception team to deliver outstanding customer service at all times
- Act as the first point of contact for escalated queries, complaints, or complex visitor requirements
- Ensure the reception area is maintained to the highest standards of professionalism and presentation
- Oversee event and catering coordination for client meetings and internal functions, liaising with suppliers and managing logistics
- Manage daily operations including visitor management, meeting room bookings, switchboard, and post handling
- Prepare management information reporting and undertake finance tracking and related administrative duties
- Develop and implement service improvement initiatives and best practices
- Train, coach, and support team members, including performance reviews and development planning
- Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor service levels, team performance, and client feedback
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety, and data protection requirements
- Manage rotas, absence cover, and support recruitment as required
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a premium reception or front of house role, ideally within a corporate or hospitality environment
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and customer focus
- IT literate, with experience using visitor management and booking systems
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage challenging situations diplomatically
- Positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement
