We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Legal Secretary in private practice to join a thriving Commercial team in Dublin. Responsibilities:

– Providing comprehensive secretarial support to a team of Partners and Senior Associates.
– Managing complex diaries, scheduling meetings, and arranging travel arrangements.
– Preparing and formatting legal documents, including contracts, correspondence, presentations, and court documents, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
– Liaising with clients, colleagues, and external parties in a professional and efficient manner.
– Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
– Managing electronic filing systems and ensuring the efficient organisation of case files.
– Preparing expense reports and invoices.
– Assisting with document review and due diligence processes.
– Providing general administrative support, including photocopying, scanning, and faxing.
– Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
– Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Essential Skills and Experience:

– Proven experience as a Legal Secretary within a commercial law firm (minimum 1 years).
– Excellent organisational and time management skills.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
– Excellent typing skills and attention to detail.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
– Experience with legal case management systems.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

– Experience with document automation software.
– Experience with legal research databases.
– Knowledge of Irish legal procedures.
