The Role:
Join a standout Data and Technology team known as the go-to legal advisors for Irish and global tech businesses. The team works daily with world-leading online platforms and social media giants, advising on cutting-edge legal and regulatory issues across Europe. The successful candidate will be advising on exciting areas such as GDPR, the Digital Services Act (DSA), the AI Act, and regulatory investigations.
This is a dynamic and collaborative environment where lawyers are given exposure to innovative and novel legal matters at the intersection of technology and regulation. There is a strong emphasis on variety, career development, and supportive mentorship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising top-tier tech clients on regulatory and data protection matters.
- Navigating complex legal frameworks such as the GDPR, DSA, and AI Act.
- Supporting clients through EU regulatory investigations and compliance efforts.
- Contributing to the development of innovative legal solutions in a fast-evolving tech landscape.
- Collaborating with colleagues across practice areas and geographies to deliver best-in-class client service.
Candidate Requirements:
- 0–6 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE), with training from a top or mid-tier law firm, or relevant in-house legal experience.
- Excellent academic background and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience advising on GDPR, DSA, AI Act or other regulatory frameworks in the tech sector.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied and fast-paced workload.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a genuine interest in technology law.
