Renewable Energy | Dublin (Hybrid)

A fast-growing Irish renewable energy platform is seeking a Business Development Director / Partner to lead its commercial expansion across utility-scale solar, battery energy storage (BESS) and clean energy infrastructure.

This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for revenue growth, strategic partnerships and market development within the Irish and European energy markets.

The Role

• Develop and execute the company’s commercial and business development strategy
• Originate and secure utility-scale renewable energy projects, partnerships and acquisitions
• Build and manage relationships with EPC contractors, energy utilities, grid operators, landowners and regulators
• Lead negotiations on high-value energy and infrastructure contracts
• Drive revenue generation across solar, BESS and grid-connected projects
• Monitor market and regulatory developments to inform commercial strategy
• Work closely with engineering and project teams on grid, high-voltage and battery-storage viability
• Represent the company with investors, partners and at industry events

Candidate Profile

• 10+ years’ experience in renewable energy, infrastructure or energy-sector business development
• Strong background in solar, wind or battery energy storage projects
• Proven track record in closing complex energy and EPC deals
• Strong commercial and technical understanding of high-voltage and grid-connected projects
• Well-established network across the Irish and European renewables sector
• Confident, credible and commercially driven with senior-level stakeholder experience
