Are you a qualified Corporate Solicitor looking for a career change while staying within the legal industry? This is a rare opportunity to transition into a Business Development (BD) role with a leading law firm. You will work closely with senior management and partners to deliver the firm’s business development strategy for its high-profile Corporate and M&A Practice Group.

The Role:

  • Collaborate with partners to design and implement business development initiatives
  • Develop and execute client relationship strategies to grow existing accounts and win new business
  • Support pitches, proposals, and key client engagement activities
  • Lead profile-raising initiatives, including thought leadership, events, and legal directory submissions
  • Work with the wider BD and Marketing team to deliver targeted campaigns
  • Provide insights on client trends, market developments, and growth opportunities

What We Are Looking For:

  • A qualified solicitor (ideally with 2+ years’ PQE in corporate or transactional law)
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the Irish and international legal markets
  • A genuine interest in business development, client relationships, and marketing strategy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Self-motivated with a proactive mindset
