Environmental & Planning Advisor – Energy Infrastructure
Location: Galway / Remote / Occasional travel
Salary: €55,000–€70,000 + benefits
Key Responsibilities:
- Support consenting and permitting processes for grid, battery, and renewable energy projects
- Manage EIAR, Natura Impact, and planning application documentation
- Engage with planning consultants, ecologists, and local authorities
- Monitor compliance with environmental regulations across project stages
Experience Required:
- 3+ years in environmental/planning consultancy or energy developer environment
- Strong understanding of Irish planning law, EPA guidelines, and EU environmental legislation
- Degree in Planning, Environmental Science, or related field
- GIS or ArcGIS experience an advantage
